In 2004 the Austrian company,Andritz took over Escher Wyss Fliessbett Systeme in Ravensburg which was subsequently renamed Andritz Fliessbett Systeme.

The company activities consist of development, manufacture and construction of plants for granulation and drying of solutions, suspensions and granular/loose material.

The equipment is mainly used within foodstuffs and for drying of waste water sludge and industrial salts.
